Traditionally, in December, the first meeting of the Meridian of Friendship language club is held at The Educational and Research Center for Foreign Citizens Training, where students who have just started learning the language talk about themselves and their countries, about academy, Poltava and Ukraine.

This year, the meeting "Let's get acquainted!" was held online for the first time. Each group and each student prepared a presentation about themselves and their preferences, watched videos about academy, life and studies of foreign students in the first year of their stay in Ukraine. "Despite the quarantine restrictions, we feel like one family, we are learning the language and preparing to become students of the academy," the students summed up their impressions of this event.
