Project Title: Life Support Training and Dissemination (LIFESTRAND) for Higher Education Institutions and Community Representatives living in Military Risk Areas of Ukraine and Georgia

Goal of the project: Safeguard the health and survival rights of vulnerable populations in Ukraine and Georgia affected by the Russian Occupation and military aggression.

Goal of the project:
- Strengthen capacities of 27 Academic Staff in 7 Higher Education Institution (HEI) of Ukraine and Georgia in the design and elaboration of new training material (First Aid Guides for Staff, Students and Community Representatives) through experience-sharing, guidance and technical assistance from partner institutions operating in Spain and Portugal.
- Benefit 242 Staff and Students of 7 HEIs in Ukraine and Georgia through capacity building in teaching and provision of First Aid, including core elements of Life Support and Pre-hospital Trauma Care.
- Strengthen life-saving First Aid skills among 7,200 members of communities living in Military Risk Areas of Ukraine and Georgia, as the final beneficiaries of Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE).
- Provide essential First Aid training equipment (including simulators) to 3 partner medical universities in Ukraine.
- "Senior-to-Junior": Completion of Training for Junior Trainers within the LIFESTRAND Project of the Erasmus+ Program
- The Training of Junior Trainers continues under the Erasmus+ program
