The jubilee academic year at PSMU begins solemnly and touchingly: in anticipation of the glorious date, the 100th anniversary of its formation, the departments join in the discussion with students of historical milestones significant for the native university and significant for its history figures.
Recently, educators of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanitarian Training, which has a special mission to unite foreign students in love and respect for Ukraine, its traditions, the originality of the past and the realities of today, talked about the establishment and development of  PSMU that is  the powerful center of medical and dental science,  about the years filled with deep meaning of hard work of those who put a lot of effort into its development and prosperity, on an incredibly beautiful viburnum alley under abundant crimson bunches.
With admiration, awe and undisguised curiosity in their eyes, foreign students listened to the great epochs in the life of the university, about accomplishments and overcomed difficulties, about the past and bold plans for the future.
The classroom screened the short documentary “Through the prism of time into the future…! ” , which was especially liked by both students and teachers. In it, everyone read the imperishable lines of history, saw the starting point, the start of the triumphant progressive movement to the honorary title of Poltava State Medical University, tracked the scale of dedicated work of its leaders, the passion for new achievements!
