ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF THE UMSA SCIENTISTS AT THE "INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC TRANSHUMANIST CONGRESS"

On April 23, 2021, the OVERMAN International Scientific Transhumanist Congress took place. The speakers of the forum were experts from Ukraine, the USA, India, Germany and Jordan.
It was attended by the Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences Vera Dubinina with oral presentation “Transhumanism as a philosophy of the modern era”.  Associate Professor Yulia Yushchenko was also an active participant in the congress. The student community of the Academy was represented by the 1-year-srudents of the group 40 of the International Faculty (India).
Oral presentations and topical platforms of the Congress on the existing technologies of human improvement were debatable: reproductive drugs, nootropics, neurostimulation. Among others, the latest technologies of human improvement were discussed, in particular, human genetic engineering, neurotechnology and artificial intelligence.
