The day of June 30, 2023 at the university seemed solemn and noisy. Happy graduates and their parents flooded the university yard early in the morning. Today the teachers met their current students for the last time. Tomorrow they will become their colleagues. After all, they will already have diplomas as evidence that the years of intense study have yielded successful results - thanks to their teachers, yesterday's students have become highly qualified specialists.
Graduates of Medical Faculties No. 1 and No. 2, the International Faculty, the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute, the Specialized Medical and Pharmaceutical College began their remarkable day with parting words and good wishes for a happy future and successful professional activity as a doctor, announced by the Rector of PSMU, Professor Vyacheslav Zhdan at the Ceremony. He wished the young specialists good luck and the Victory of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Thanks to those who sacrificed their lives for our people, thanks to the soldiers of the Armed Forces, volunteers, medics in war zones and in hospitals, the current graduates had the opportunity today to complete their studies and receive diplomas. The rector urged his graduates to always remember this. They honored the memory of the fallen Heroes with a minute of silence.
Many more kind words and wishes for a bright future were heard on this solemn day by masters and bachelors, graduates of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute and the Specialized Medical and Pharmaceutical College, doctors from the specialty "Medicine" from the First Vice-Rector, Professor Valentin Dvornyk, Vice-Rector for International Relations Viktor Polishchuk, Guarantor of the EPP “Medicine”, Professor Ihor Skrypnyk, Chairman of the State Examination Commission, Professor Valeriy Pokhylko, Deans Mykola Ryabushko, Denys Kapustyanskyi, Lilia Buria, Zhanna Kundiy, and teachers who taught, helped and were all the time by their side, giving them their knowledge, skills and experience.
885 graduates of 2023, of which 51 received diplomas with honors, will tomorrow work for the health of the Ukrainian people, for their future and for Victory.
