On October 16, 2025, at the Department of Human Anatomy of Poltava State Medical University, an educational lecture titled “Waste Sorting: What Is It and Why?” was held at the initiative of Olha Kudria and Myroslava Maistrenko, students of Medical Faculty No. 1.
The event took place within the framework of the environmental project MedEco.PrintLab under the UPSHIFT program, implemented by the Alium team.
During the lecture, participants learned about the basic principles and benefits of waste sorting, discussed its importance for the environment and for each individual. The speakers also shared practical tips on how to organize an eco-action, build a team of like-minded people, and run an effective awareness campaign within their educational environment.
The meeting was held in an open dialogue format — students actively asked questions, exchanged ideas, and proposed ways to integrate eco-friendly initiatives into the daily life of the university community.
