On February 20, 2025, the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology hosted the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad for second-year students of the "Dentistry" and "Medicine" educational programs. The event was attended by the Dean of the International Faculty, Oleksandr Liulka.
The participants were evaluated in the following areas:
- Written response;
- Diagnosis of specimens and electronograms;
- Solving second-level tests;
- Solving problems from the "Krok 1" database.
Based on the results, nine participants were selected and awarded as follows:
- First place: Dmytro Rykov (262 points)
- First place: Oleksandra Polishchuk (260 points)
- Second place: Valeriia Lystrova (256 points)
- Second place: Anatolii Rozumiei (256 points)
- Second place: Maksym Savchenko (254 points)
- Third place: Iryna Pyvovar (248 points)
- Third place: Anton Bunin (246 points)
- Third place: Anastasiia Shykota (246 points)
- Third place: Valeriia Andrushchenko (244 points)
The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, allowing each participant to fully showcase their potential. Such events not only contribute to the personal growth of students but also foster a friendly and cohesive environment among young people, forming the foundation for a professional medical community.
