In continuation of the implementation of the international project “Life Support Training and Dissemination (LIFESTRAND) for Higher Education Institutions and Community Representatives living in Military Risk Areas of Ukraine and Georgia” by PSMU as part of the consortium of medical higher education institutions from Spain, Portugal, Georgia and Ukraine, during the eventful and vital 5-day scenario-based training, which included theoretical material, practical skills and simulation scenarios on pre-hospital care in military-related emergencies, organized at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and the University of Porto (Portugal) for participants from Ukraine and Georgia, considerable attention was paid to the issues of psychological assessment and support for victims. In addition to the knowledge and practical skills gained by the trainees, the organizers of the psychological support training cycle kindly provided the participants from PSMU with materials for the Mental Health Education and Research Center, which will be used for further implementation of the LIFESTRAND project and in the educational and practical activities of the Center's specialists.

Sincere thanks to the partners from Spain and Portugal for supporting the university and the opportunity to nurture the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the current conditions of war time.
