On June 8, 2024, the sixth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1 Valeriia Menshykova and Lada Hrytchenko took part in the annual conference of students and young scientists at the University of Glasgow Medical School, the largest university in Scotland.
The prospective physicians made two presentations: "Multicultural experience as a predictor of professional growth" and "Students' life in the conditions of war". They spoke about the realities of Ukrainian students' lives in the context of a full-scale invasion. Valeriia Menshikova shared her experience of scientific student work at the Department of Nervous Diseases of PSMU.
In the difficult conditions of the war in Ukraine, it is gratifying to think that even today Ukrainian students have a unique opportunity to share their experience of academic mobility and student research in wartime.
