On October 12-15, 2024, the 32nd United European Gastroenterology Week (UEGWeek 2024) was held in Vienna (Austria).
The congress was attended by 11,377 delegates from 114 countries, including 11% in a virtual format. 49 scientists and physicians from Ukraine participated in the scientific forum. All physicians from Ukraine who wished to participate in the congress online could do so free of charge, which was made possible by the decision of the UEG management at the request of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association.
The congress was attended by Prof. Igor Skrypnyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1, President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association.

Also, it was an unforgettable experience of scientific presentations and direct communication with leading experts in European and world gastroenterology - Matthias Löhr (Sweden), President of the European Gastroenterological Association, Peter Malfentiner (Germany), head of the recommendations and guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of helicobacter infection, etc.
