On June 15-18, 2023, the 60th anniversary Congress of the European Renal Association was held in Milan, Italy. The scientific event gathered more than 9,700 participants in the auditoriums of the Viale Eginardo conference center in Milan and more than 66,000 joined online.

The Head of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with phthisiology, Associate Professor Borzykh Oksana took an active part in the work of the congress. The most interesting topics of the congress were modern views on the causes and consequences of the progression of chronic kidney disease, diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary glomerulonephritis, management of patients with hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and kidney diseases, issues of dialysis and kidney transplantation, modern technologies in medical education.
