From November 13–15, 2024, the 10th Polish-Ukrainian Conference "Current Threats and Emergency Medicine: How to Prepare for New Challenges of the 21st Century?" took place in Sosnowiec, Poland.

Professor Iryna Holovanova, Head of the Department of Public Health and Medical-Labor Expertise at PSMU, presented a report "Emergency Care for Myocardial Infarction Patients and Its Impact on Emotional State" during the event.

The conference participants discussed critical current issues related to emergency medical services and modern health threats. They also identified innovative solutions that will play a pivotal role in advancing emergency medicine, particularly in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
