Boris Filenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Pathological Anatomy with Autopsy Course at the PSMU took the advanced course within the “2021 Salzburg Cleveland Clinic Seminar in Pathology” program of the Open Medical Institute of the American-Austrian Foundation (Salzburg, Austria).

The seminar was attended by the researchers and physicians from 25 countries worldwide, who had the opportunity to learn about current morphological methods for diagnosing cancer and inflammatory diseases of the female reproductive system, lungs and gastrointestinal tract, as well as pathomorphological diagnosis of COVID-19.

During the training there was an exchange of the state-of-the-art information, which will now be implemented into the academic, scientific and diagnostic work of the department, as well as disseminated among pathologists.
