Professor Lyubov Smaglyuk, Head of the Department of Orthodontics of the Poltava State Medical University, took part in the Congress European Orthodontic Society (EOSLO 2023) - the 98th annual EOS congress, Oslo, Norway, where she gave a poster presentation on the topic: "Electromyographic activity of masticatory muscles in patients with bruxism" ("Electromyographic activity of masticatory muscles in subjects with bruxism", co-author A. V. Lyakhovska).

Together with international colleagues, Professor Smagliuk L.V. took an active part in the discussion of sectional meetings, poster presentations, and the exchange of experience regarding the use of functional methods and devices for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of patients with OA and deformities in order to shorten the terms of their rehabilitation, which is especially relevant for victims of martial law and the early post-war period.

During the work of the congress, Professor L. V. Smagliuk together with Professor M. S. Drogomyretska, Head of the Department of Orthodontics of the P. L. Shupyk National University of Health Care familiarised themselves with new materials, technologies and methods of modern orthodontics for their further implementation in the territory of Ukraine.
