Students of the scientific group of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology are trying to support each other in their scientific research in such a difficult time for the country. They take part in various scientific events that take place not only at PSMU, but also at other higher educational establishments.

So, on April 10-12, 2023, the 27th Congress of Students and Young Scientists "Future for Science" was held at the Ternopil National Medical University in online format. The scientific program of the congress provided consideration of various issues in the field of theoretical, experimental, practical medicine and pharmacy.

The students presented their scientific research in the biology, microbiology and pharmacology section, pharmacy: Vygovska Anastasia, Diana Sikalyuk (2d year, Faculty of Medicine No. 1) with the topic of the scientific work "Determination of the effect of the essential oil of monarda pipeus on saprophytic and pathogenic types of microorganisms" (research supervisors: Associate Professor Valentina Polyanska, Associate Professor Svitlana Zachepylo) received a 1st degree diploma.

Mansi Sood (3rd year, International faculty, EPP "Medicine") with the topic of scientific work "Epidemiological investigation of Yellow Fever" (supervisor: associate professor Vira Fedorchenko) received a 3rd degree diploma.

Rohini Biswas (4th year, International faculty, EPP "Medicine") with the topic of scientific work "New way to improve the efficacy of conventional antimycotics" (scientific supervisors: teacher Nellya Bobrova, professor Olena Vazhnycha) received a diploma of the 3rd degree.
