At Poltava State Medical University, a traditional meeting between student leaders and Rector Viacheslav Zhdan took place in the format of an open dialogue. The discussion focused on key issues related to the organization of the educational process and the development of the student environment.
Particular attention was given to improving practical training, further developing simulation centers and teaching laboratories, and expanding opportunities for independent preparation for the national licensing exam KROK.
Special emphasis was placed on supporting student initiatives and enhancing university infrastructure. The Rector stressed the importance of maintaining in-person learning for medical students and confirmed that the administration is making every effort to ensure safe and comfortable study and living conditions, even under martial law.
Viacheslav Zhdan also highlighted the importance of systematic communication among representatives of the Student Parliament, the Student Trade Union, the Student Scientific Society, dormitory councils, and volunteer groups. He emphasized that continuous improvement of the educational process remains one of the university’s top priorities.
Representatives of the university administration, as well as economic and facilities services, joined the discussion, contributing to a constructive and comprehensive approach to addressing the issues raised.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their cooperation and maintain regular exchanges of proposals and initiatives.
