On July 25, 2024, a regular working online meeting was held with representatives from Glasgow Caledonian University: Dr. Gordon Hill, Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Public Health Education and Research at Glasgow Caledonian University, Assistant Head for International in the School of Health and Life Sciences and a Senior Lecturer, and Professional Lead for Paramedicine and Deputy Head of Department for Physiotherapy and Paramedicine in the School of Health and Life Sciences at GCU, Samantha Paterson. As a result of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between PSMU and GCU, further steps of the partnership were discussed:
- development and implementation of webinars, masterclasses, and lectures on emergency medicine, pre-hospital care, etc., as well as public health;
- encouragement of educational communication between PSMU students and students of the GCU Emergency Care Society;
- joint project activities in the field of international cooperation.
The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for early September 2024, with the participation of joint working groups that will study specific areas of cooperation and determine effective ways to implement them. This will be an important step in deepening international understanding and knowledge exchange between partner universities.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of well-wishes and positive prospects for future cooperation.
