On June 17, 2022, Poltava State Medical University received international accreditation for two educational and professional programs of the second (Master's) level of higher education in the specialty 222 "Medicine" and 221 "Dentistry" from the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating, which certifies the full compliance of accredited programs with international standards of quality of higher education and the requirements of the World Federation of Medical Education.
The University is the first university in the region to receive international certificates of accreditation on Masters’ degree programs, which confirm the high quality of training of specialists at Poltava State Medical University, and PSMU graduates have the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to be successful in their professional careers.
IAAR accreditation increases the authority and recognizability of Poltava State Medical University at the global level and its reputation in the world educational and scientific сcommunity.  International recognition will undoubtedly contribute to the University’s image on the national and international educational market and further internationalization of the University’s activities.
