The new academic year at the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanitarian Training of the Poltava State Medical University began in a distance-synchronous format. International students continue to study the Ukrainian language online. It is natural and psychologically justified that in the conditions of long-term distance learning due to the state of war in Ukraine, the motivational factor of the educational process can be expected to weaken in them. Therefore, the priority at the department was to clearly establish a continuous process of teaching and communication with international students, comprehensive support for each student.

It is important that in the organization of the educational process with international students, the asynchronous mode is used: educational materials are available 24/7 - international students have the opportunity to master the educational material both independently and by visiting couples online according to the schedule.
