PSMU HOSTED REPRESENTATIVES OF VARIOUS STATES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA TO DISCUSS COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF MEDICAL EDUCATION

On December 23, 2021, representatives of different states of the Republic of India visited Poltava Medical University. Some of them have already been to our University, and some of them visited us for the first time after learning about the university from the webinars, which are traditionally held with representatives of India.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Deputy Rector for International Relations Viktor Polishchuk and the Dean of the International Faculty Liliia Buria.
The purpose of the meeting was to promote PSMU among the citizens of India, as well as to discuss the conditions of study and verification of the material and technical base of the university, scientific and pedagogical potential and quality of educational services.
In particular, they visited the library and the state-of-the-art reading rooms equipped with computers and free access to the global network and open access to scientometric databases. At the Departments of Histology, Cytology and Embryology, Human Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery, delegates were shown the possibilities of multimedia teaching aids for visualization and modeling, including interactive anatomical tables, multimedia screens, small operating rooms for minimally invasive and invasive surgeries, as well as lecture rooms with multimedia equipment.
At the end of the meeting the ways of future cooperation were discussed. Both parties expressed hope for further cooperation and development of friendly relations and partnerships.
