For its contribution to the development of Ukraine's innovation ecosystem and the intellectual property sector, Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) has received a commendation from the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations (UKRNOIPI). Thanks to the coordinated efforts of PSMU Research Department, the Department of Scientific and Medical Information, and the Patent and Licensing Office, in collaboration with scientists, inventors, innovators and PhD students, the university successfully implements innovative projects and creates new technologies. PSMU’s recognition as the "Most Active Innovator" further motivates continued development.

One of PSMU’s priority goals is transitioning to an innovative development pathway. The foundation of this innovation model is the effective use of intellectual potential, the introduction of intellectual labor products into economic circulation, and the expansion of intellectual property turnover.
