On May 29-31, 2024, Ruslan Lysenko, Professor of the Department of Surgery No. 1, took part in the 46th Annual Conference of the European Association of Herniology (EHS 2024) in Prague, Czech Republic.

He presented an electronic poster on the topic “Interfascial blocks of the abdominal wall according to the ERAS protocol in video laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery”. The poster presentation was highly appreciated by the organizing committee and was included in the 11 best electronic posters. Professor Ruslan Lysenko reported on this topic at the session of the best electronic posters on May 30, 2024, in accordance with the requirements of this conference. He also got acquainted with new materials, products, technologies and techniques in modern herniology, and had the opportunity to test the da vinci Xi robotic system. 

The information obtained will be further disseminated among colleagues, used in scientific activities and implemented in the educational process and practical health care.
