Recently, young scientists of our university visited the International Medical Student Congress of Craiova in Romania. What are the future prospects? Read more about it.
The development and support of student medical science is important for young people as the future professionals, medical clinicians and researchers. The active participation of young scientists of our university in the International Medical Student Congress of Craiova, which took place in Romania, provided an opportunity to be got acquainted with the up-to-date aspects in medicine, to broaden the scientific horizon, to master the skills of presentation and discussion of the findings of scientific research.
The conference began with a plenary session, at which the organizers addressed the participants with a welcome speech and listened to the report by Ukrainian scientists on the state of the organization of medical service in war time. More than 150 students and post-graduate students from Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine took part in the conference.
Poltava State Medical University was represented by the members of the scientific group of students and young scientists of the Department of Physiology, the course "Laboratory Diagnostics", under the supervision of Associate Professor Tetiana Mamontova. As part of the work of the sections, collective research was presented by Anatoly Miagkohlib (co-authors Anastasia Zezekalo, Serhiy Trotsko, Serhii Shalnev, Roman Sema), whose report was evaluated as the best in its section, as well as Hasan Khairddin and Emmanuel Berko Ofori (co-authors Veronika Mamontova, Maksym Shevchenko and Adib Mukris).
The work of the conference ended with summing up the results, awarding of the Diplomas and honoring of active participants, selected by the jury of the congress.
The gained experience of successful participation in the international student medical scientific events made it possible to join the best traditions and values of European medical universities and present Alma Mater with dignity to the young scientific community.
