On March 31, 2023, Yuliya Lysanets, Assistant Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology at PSMU became a participant in the international event "International Partnership Conference", held at the University of Coventry (Great Britain). The event was attended by the representatives of the administration, teaching staff and students of the British university.
Yuliya Lysanets presented the online report, during which British colleagues got acquainted with the main areas of work, scientific projects and international achievements of the Poltava State Medical University. The report presented the results of cooperation between the PSMU and University of Coventry in 2022-2023, including: participation as part of the organizing committee and online reports by representatives of British universities (Prof. Jenna Ward, Dr. Crystal Zhang, Dr. Tim Downing) at the plenary session of the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Issues in Linguistics, Professional Linguistic Didactics, Psychology and Pedagogy Of Higher Education" (PSMU, December 15-16, 2022); participation of the faculty staff and participants of the student research group of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology in the international forum "Practitioner Insight Conference: Dealing with Global Uncertainty" (University of Coventry, October 17-21, 2022); open online lecture of the faculty staff of PSMU "Gender Dimension in Ukraine: A Modern Perspective" (V.O. Dubinina, Yu.V. Lysanets) initiated by the administration of the Faculty of Business and Law of Coventry University as part of the interdisciplinary event "International Women's Day" ( Coventry University, 08 March 2023).
During the report, promising ways of deepening cooperation between PSMU and University of Coventry were discussed, first of all, the planning of joint academic projects "Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)" for students. The importance of Ukraine's integration progress into the European academic space was emphasized.
