Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology at PSMU is currently studying the peculiarities of teaching academic writing at Johns Hopkins University. In the autumn semester of 2024, the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program 2024-2025 scholar Yuliia Lysanets is learning from her American colleagues about the experience of teaching the following courses: “The Teaching Writing Workshop”, “Community Engaged Writing: Creating the Academic Conference”, ”Reintroduction to Writing: Building the Train of Thought”, ”Reintroduction to Writing: Playing With Words”, ”Reintroduction to Writing: Imagination and Research”, ”Special Topics in Writing: Politics and Persuasion” and others to humanities students at the School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins University (USA).
This is for now, but there are still many interesting and useful things to come, as classes in Biomedical Writing and Fundamentals of Excellent Writing at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine will begin in late October.
