Pandemic, lockdown, red zone, distance learning…. These words entered everyone's mind during difficult and exhausting, for the whole world, endlessly long months of quarantine restrictions.

But life goes on. New generations of future physicians are seeking education for successful professional activities in the future. The Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy invites students from different countries to study.

“Microbiology, and especially virology,” the teachers say at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology, ‘in the current pandemic is of particular interest to those seeking medical education.”

Together with the students in the distance format on the Zoom platform, the teachers of the Department turn the bright pages of scientific achievements and victories of the world medical science. It is worth mentioning only the names of these defeated (fully or partially) viruses: influenza, measles, mumps, rabies, polio, immunodeficiency, scarlet fever, hepatitis, herpes, smallpox. And now - coronaviruses.

Microbiologists and virologists continue research and are waiting for the new students not only from Ukraine but also from near and far abroad!
