On December 1, to mark the World AIDS Day and as part of the European Testing Week, the Regional Center for Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS of the Poltava Regional Council, in collaboration with the Department of Educational and Humanitarian Work with Youth at PSMU, conducted a campaign for free HIV testing.

On the first floor of the university's administrative building, students and staff had the opportunity to undergo testing and find out about the presence of the infection. The total number of individuals tested exceeded 200. Additionally, the volunteer group "Almino" participated in the campaign. Student volunteers provided information about the peculiarities of HIV infection.
