On February 22, 2024, the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology held the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad for second-year students in the study programs "Dentistry" and "Medicine". The event was attended by the Dean of the International Faculty Lilia Buria.

Students were evaluated in the following areas:

• written answer;
• diagnostics of specimens and electronograms;
• solving level II tests;
• solving problems from the Krok 1 database.

According to the results of the event, 8 participants were selected and received:

• I place Diploma - Anastasiia Karavai, with the score of 266 points;
• I place Diploma - Kateryna Liubimska, with the score of 264 points;
• II place Diploma - Sofiia Ternopolska, with the score of 256 points;
• II place Diploma - Oleksandr Volkov, with the score of 254 points;
• II place Diploma - Sofiia Yurchenko, with the score of 254 points;
• III place Diploma - Sofiia Kravchenko, with the score of 252 points;
• III place Diploma - Oleksandra Lysenko, with the score of 250 points.
• III place Diploma - Ernest Myronenko, with the score of 248 points.
