Оn January 15, 2025, Poltava State Medical University, being the signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum since 2018, joined the enlightening workshop, organized by  the Magna Charta Observatory and hosted by Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. This event explored the outcomes of the "Responsive and Responsible University" research project by the Research Committee of the Magna Charta Observatory. Key discussions covered theoretical and methodological frameworks, alongside case studies highlighting the critical role of universities in addressing societal challenges.

This workshop is an essential gathering for academic leaders, researchers, and stakeholders interested in understanding how universities can embody fundamental values such as autonomy, academic freedom, and societal engagement in practice. Highlights include case studies from Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius, Lithuania and Wroclaw Medical University, Poland, focusing on impactful responses to the Ukrainian war crisis.
