On February 15, 2023, the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the academic discipline "Infectious Diseases" took place. Students of the 5th and 6th year of study of  the Medical Faculty No. 1, Medical No. 2 and the International Faculty took part in the Olympiad.

The members of the jury, headed by Professor Tetiana Koval, highly estimated the level of students' training. After a long discussion and counting of points, the winners of the 1st stage were chosen:

- Oleksandr Modestov (group11, 5th year of study, the Faculty of Medicine No. 1);

- Andrii Litosh (group 8n, 6th year of study, the Faculty of Medicine No. 2);

- Alina Samus (group 6n, 5th year of study, the Faculty of Medicine No. 2);

- Olena Trikhminova (group 5n, 6th year of study, the Faculty of Medicine No. 2);

- Olga Stetsenko (group 5, 5th year of study, the Faculty of Medicine No. 1).
