As part of the implementation of collaboration between Poltava State Medical University and the International Association of Universities (IAU), Professor Hanna Vasylyeva, the Head of the Mental Health Education and Research Center at PSMU, participated in the IAU SDG3 Cluster 2023 Webinar - The Mental Health Crisis: Building Resilience in an Uncertain and Changing Environment. Current health systems are having trouble matching the increase in demand related to mental health. Addressing mental health issues as they arise, and preventive measures are key to improving mental health at university and in society, and to avoiding more severe cases. During the webinar, experts from the IAU HESD Cluster on SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing have discussed lessons learned from higher education and research, and the role of e-health in reducing the burden on health care systems.
