The European University Foundation is a powerful academic network that unites about a hundred higher education institutions in Europe, and aims to build a modern and competitive European space of higher education.

EUF granted membership to Poltava State Medical University, as well as four other prestigious Ukrainian universities, on a competitive basis in June 2022.

The official online meeting of members of the European Foundation of Universities took place on July 7, 2022, during which Poltava State Medical University was presented. Representatives of universities in Belgium, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, France and other European countries attended the meeting. The priority areas of cooperation and the next steps in the continuation of the integration of PSMU into the European educational space, the creation of new opportunities for the obtaining of international experience by academic staff and students were discussed.
