Recently,  the academy hosted the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline "Hygiene and Ecology", which was attended by 14 students of the    2-,3-,5- year of study of the Medical Faculty № 1, № 2 and the International Faculty.
The scenario of the Olympiad was designated  in advance at the meeting of the Department. It included three stages: computer testing, answering oral questions and solving situational tasks in various areas of hygiene.
The best results were selected by the jury chaired by Prof. Alexander Katrushov, the Head of the Department.
The winners were:
1st place – Jaisankar Gurusami, International Faculty, 3rd year of study, group 45;
2nd place – Bugaevskaya Maria, Medical Faculty №1, 3rd year of study,  group 9 and
Shileima Kumukcham, International Faculty, 3rd year of study,  group 35;
3rd place – Modestov Alexander, Medical Faculty №1, 3rd year of study, group 11and
Dipanita Chakraborty, International Faculty, 3rd year of study, group 40 group.
The winners of the first stage are recommended to participate at the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Hygiene.
