With deep respect and awe we honour the heroes of Ukraine, who selflessly and sacrificially defend our Motherland in the fierce struggle against the Russian aggressor. Our brave, honest and courageous soldiers have a worthy example: the Ukrainian Cossack, free, proud, independent in spirit.

The Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities, which currently works online with a large contingent of foreign students, combined the present and the past on the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, turned the pages of history and told the students of the international faculty of PSMU about the phenomenon of the Ukrainian Cossacks and its influence on the history of Ukraine, about the courage and indomitability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, of the Ukrainian soldier, about the invaluable role of a woman defender on the battlefield.
