On August 23, 2024, our nation celebrates the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. The entire university community proudly honors its indomitable banner of Freedom and Independence today. The celebration of this significant date at the University began with a delegation from PSMU, led by Rector Professor Viacheslav Zhdan, participating in an ideological and patriotic event dedicated to the Symbol of Ukrainian Statehood. The National Flag of Ukraine was swiftly hoisted this morning on the tallest flagpole in Poltava by servicemen. The flag bears the signatures of the President of Ukraine and prominent figures from the Poltava region. Among them are the heartfelt words written by the Rector of Poltava State Medical University, Viacheslav Zhdan: "For each and every one! For Ukraine!!! The current and future doctors of Poltava region!"

Today, these words resonate deeply in every caring heart. Happy Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, dear Compatriots!
