First-year students of the International Faculty at a practical lesson on “History of Ukraine and Ukrainian Culture” at the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences discussed the achievements of the National Liberation War of the seventeenth century and what were the main mistakes made by Bohdan Khmelnytskyi during the signing of the Pereiaslav Treaty.
“History is cyclical and everything repeats itself “, unfortunately, this thesis is extremely relevant to reflect the original struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence and national self-identification.
