Public health
The Global Innovation Fund is an independent non-profit organization that invests in social innovation projects aimed at improving the lives of people in developing countries. Through grant programmes, the Foundation helps implement innovative solutions to address the global challenges of sustainable development. Every year, the Foundation supports projects of social enterprises, governmental, commercial and non-profit organizations, as well as independent researchers in various fields of science, including public health, from anywhere in the world.
The process of selecting participants involves 3 stages:
- 1. Pre-application review: applicants must register and post a business plan or project proposal explaining how the innovative solution they are proposing can improve people’s lives.
- 2. Complete application and package of necessary documents.
- 3. Signing a grant agreement.
Speciality: all specialities, including public health
It is necessary to send the application, Curriculum Vitae (CV) with the indication of scientific achievements (up to 2 pages); a brief annotation of the research project, an appendix with a list of co-authors of the project (contact details) indicating the contribution of each of them; description of the project with the list of used literature; list of scientific publications; provide information about the Austrian mentor or colleague researchers, as well as a letter of consent from the host scientific research institution.
