European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) is the largest independent organization in Europe and around the world that facilitates the exchange of information and interaction between physicians and scientists to conduct research and improve clinical results of treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS).

The ECTRIMS Research Fellowship programme involves the exchange of information and the promotion of a number of scientists with the best education and training to investigate the problems associated with multiple sclerosis. Participation in this programme is, first of all, gaining research experience.

In addition, scholarship holders must attend the ECTRIMS Annual Congress and present the research. ECTRIMS will pay separately for travel and accommodation expenses during participation in the Congress.

Candidates: Professionals under the age of 40 who, regardless of degree (bachelor's degree is required), must have experience in any field of multiple sclerosis research.

To participate in the scholarship competition, you need to submit a short resume, a completed application (on the ECTRIMS website www.ectrims.eu), a list of publications (the form is also available on the website, no more than 5 pages) and short plans for future professional development (no more 1 page).

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a submitted research project (maximum 6 pages with tables, calculations and references, as well as a short project summary of up to 250 words), which will be implemented during the scholarship period in collaboration with the mentor and the host organization.

The absence of a language barrier is also an important criterion, so you need to provide a certificate of knowledge of the language of the country where the internship will take place.
