Lise Meitner Programme is a scholarship programme for scientists and researchers from all over the world who are interested in conducting research in a specific field of science in one of Austria's research institutions.
This programme focuses on financial assistance to highly qualified scientists from abroad who can contribute to the development of the relevant Austrian research institution.
Requirements to the candidate:
- completed postgraduate studies PhD / Doctor of Sciences;
- invitation from an Austrian research institution.

It is necessary to send the application, CV with the indication of scientific achievements (up to 2 pages); a brief annotation of the research project, an appendix with a list of co-authors of the project (contact details) indicating the contribution of each of them; description of the project with the list of used literature; list of scientific publications; provide information about the Austrian mentor or fellow researchers, as well as a letter of consent from the host research institution.

Grant: depending on the level of qualification 66070-72630 euros per year, and an additional € 12,000 for current expenses (additional materials, business trips, etc.).
